My Story

Hi, my name is Esmeralda Carolina. I have a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and I know exactly how the brain, thoughts, mindset and beliefs work. But I also experienced first-hand that ‘talk it out’ just doesn’t work. Because being the smart women we are, we know how to put everything into words perfectly –
but it gets us precisely nowhere.

It also does nothing for what’s going on in your body: restlessness, tightness, persistent fatigue, anxiety, aches and pains and persistent, vague other symptoms.

Yep, no matter how good the story you tell yourself (or your therapist), the body doesn’t care for it. Your emotions and mind don’t either, by the way. Because in the end, it’s just a story. I had mastered the art of putting what I had experienced and what I felt into words. As a result, I could almost tell it as if it wasn’t even about me. And that turned out to be exactly the problem: I did not FEEL it.

I thought I had ‘worked through it’ (which actually meant I put it somewhere far away in the back of my brain), but my body gave me all kinds of signals that the situation I created, was not merely as comfortable as I thought. You know how they say at first you get the pebble, then the rock and ultimately the boulder? Well, I kept ignoring all the symptoms and discomforts until my body screamed STOP and crashed.  There I was, completely overwhelmed and burned out.

A new start

After a much needed time-out, I got back up and got back to work.
I built my career in the corporate world. I learned to recognize and guard my boundaries much better, but I still hadn’t solved the underlying problems, the root of my behavioural patterns. I still got very triggered – from seemingly really small things – and feeling always ‘on’, hyper aware, unsafe and never good enough.

I tried everything, but I kept looking outside myself. End result: It got me nowhere. I felt unfulfilled, unsatistied and demotivated and knew that things had to change, but how?  Over time, I felt less like myself every day. I needed something – or maybe everything – to change. But how?

Then finally, there came a turning point. I got so fed up with the way my life was that I took a 4-month sabbatical. I just didn’t know what to do, except for running away. Just two weeks into my sabbatical, I decided I definitely shouldn’t go back to my job. I said  goodbye to my career in the corporate world, which I had chased, hustled and worked my ass of for for more than 10 years.

I didn’t have any clue on what to do next. But in that twilight zone, I had the feeling that after a long period of surviving, I was slowly coming back to life. I embraced the freedom that I suddenly experienced and finally broke free from the feeling that I was stuck, not good enough and wasn’t constantly overwhelmed anymore!

Transformation

This is how my journey towards embodiment and spirituality began. In the last 5 years I have delved deeply into emotions, trauma (processing), the collaboration between your brain and your body, energetics and our nervous system. I got trained in hypnotherapy, regression, EFT and body-oriented coaching and tried everything myself, from breathwork to ayahuasca, from regression therapy to intuitve massages and from Yin Yoga to microdosing.

I discovered that the key to – I would almost like to say EVERYTHING – lies in letting your mind & body work together effectively.

When you can do that, you can do anything. Then you’re able to tackle patterns at their core and get real transformation.

Now, it is my mission to teach women like me and you how to do this, because it will change everything!
