I know exactly how thoughts, mindset, emotions and beliefs work. But I also experienced first-hand that ‘talk it out’ just doesn’t work. Because being the smart women we are, we know how to put everything into words perfectly – but it gets us precisely nowhere in the 3D world.
It also doesn’t do a damn thing about what’s going on in your body: restlessness, tightness, persistent fatigue, anxiety, aches and pains and persistent, vague other symptoms.
Yep, no matter how good the story you tell yourself (or your therapist), the body doesn’t give a fuck about it. Your emotions and mind don’t either, by the way.
What I found out DID move the needle, is working with my nervous system, getting out of survival mode and perfectionism patterns (spoiler: they’re the same) and take radical responsibility over my life.
